Maternity Leave
If the brokerage is continuing to sponsor the individual's license, the individual would still be required to complete online renewal/payment no later than August 31st of each year. Continuing education hours are required for all individuals including when on maternity leave.

Please note, that the principal broker would advise need to advise RIBO (licensing@ribo.com) that the individual is on maternity leave and provide confirmation that they will continue to sponsor the license while off.

Long-Term Disability
The principal broker will need to advise RIBO (licensing@ribo.com) that you are on long-term disability (LTD) and provide confirmation that they will continue to sponsor the license while you are off.

If the brokerage is continuing to sponsor your license, you would still be required to complete online renewal/payment no later than August 31st of each year.

In order to apply for continuing education exemption (if you are unable/cannot complete hours) while on LTD (at renewal time), please submit information regarding illness (nature of illness, date they left on LTD, expected return date if known) along with confirmation letter for Principal Broker confirming they will still be sponsoring the license and support request to waive CE requirement to licensing@ribo.com.
